Introducing: Elliott Evan

The human form inspires him, and his garments act as an extension of the skeleton. His designs are based on an exploration of the human body. He’s a California native who has a natural hand for architecture of all art forms. His name is Elliott Giffis.

Born in San Diego in 1986, Elliott studied at the Academy of Arts University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design with an emphasis on menswear. He then moved to Los Angeles, where he began gaining first-hand experience in the fashion business. After holding positions at B. Scott, United Taken and designing for Bohemian Society, Elliott’s own dream was born.

His passion for the intricate, meaningful construction of garments with single needle construction drove him to starting his own menswear line: Elliott Evan. He began working with fabrics from leather, denim and poplin, and eventually had created something so unique that it had to be shared.

Elliott ‘s construction and symmetry of every single piece he creates results in a most intriguing avant-garde aesthetic. From bold structured silhouettes, accentuated multi-functional collars and pants to exposed zippers, Elliott’s menswear line is both innovate and absolutely one-of-a-kind.
